What a few weeks it's been!!!! Everyone's busy and so many are glad that it's all back to normal - including us! Lots to tell you! First of all our lovely dancers who entered exams in July all passed with Highly Commended and some great comments so Well Done to them! Exams are always nerve wracking but they did exceptionally well. We are dancing at two Care Homes regularly and this is something we hope to keep doing as it's lovely to see the eyes light up with memories of dancing ,music and singing. We've just done a Dirty Dancing Charity night where we raised over £300 thanks to everyone who came - that was a bit of fun and we had a good giggle.
So, what's ahead of us? We've got new classes starting next week Dobwalls, Newquay, Wadebridge and Fraddon - we have no idea who is going to turn up until we get the information from Adult Education. Our Monday class is ongoing, we have a 10 o clock Beginners, a Mini dance 11 - 12 practicing all the dances learned so far, and 12 - 1.00pm is our intermediate group.
Birthday night dance is 60s themed and that's on Wednesday 11th October - love to do themed nights - there will definitely be photos on the Gallery!!!
We've started our lunch meets again and last week was brilliant - we all had a good catch up and some laughs - going to do this again in November we hope!
That's all for now but I won't leave it so long next time - doing in this in a great rush before we shoot off to Dobwalls to do a demonstration hour. - Speak again soon - Frankie xx
