Well here we are halfway through August and no classes until September!!! It does feel strange and I miss all our lovely student dancers from Bodmin, Crantock, Newquay and Fraddon. Good news is that our Wednesday and Saturday dances are still going strong and we have seen some lovely holidaymakers who have joined us when they've been here. We taught the Chatsworth Jive a couple of months ago at Fraddon and I'm still loving it! The nicest thing about Sequence is that you learn so many different figures and different dances that you just don't get bored! We only teach one new one every four or five weeks so if you come on holiday and it happens to be a week when we teach one you can join in! The new dances out this month are a real mixture - a Samba which is really nice, a classic Waltz and a very modern Tango! We have some new Beginners daytime classes starting at the end of September so if you're checking out the website and thinking about it - get in touch!
Looking to make some plans for next year regarding going on trips to places - we usually go to the Easter Festival in Southport - need to go for a week really from here but you can make a holiday of it and it's a fabulous experience at the Floral Hall. So possibly this could be something we could put on our list, get a coach and off we go!
I'll try not to leave it so long next time, the blog is a new feature on the site and I have just started to think about using it! - check out our Facebook page and give it a like there's more on there too :) signing off - Frankie xx
